The kernel of our FC1 server was 2.4.22-1.2155 and is now updated to 2.4.22-1.2197. Though according to the article New Kernel Crash-Exploit discovered on FC1 kernel version greater than 2.4.22-1.2188 should be safe from the crash-exploit problem, I am not pretty sure if it is good enough. Maybe upgrading kernel directly to 2.6.7 will be better? But when I research into this, I found an article Compiling Kernel using RPM and and followed a threaded discussion about compiling the kernel, obviouly there are obstacles ahead of me.
